Built in practice.
Shared with clarity.

Kamran Iqbal is an internal audit professional, international trainer, author and consultant with approximately 20 years of experience across audit and assurance. His work has developed across internal audit, risk management, governance, fraud, information systems audit and internal controls, giving him a broad perspective on how assurance functions support better decisions.

For more than a decade, he has also worked in professional training, helping practitioners move beyond simply knowing standards and methodologies toward understanding how to apply them with sound judgement. His approach is grounded in practical scenarios, clear reasoning and the realities professionals face in audit, risk, fraud and governance environments.

As Lead Trainer at CTC Global — Certified Trainers and Consultants, Kamran contributes to learning and development initiatives across internal audit, risk, fraud, governance and information systems audit. His work as an author and thought leader follows the same principle: make technical knowledge clearer, more practical and more useful in the situations where professional judgement matters.

Areas of expertise

Where assurance,
risk and judgement meet.

Audit rarely operates in isolation. Kamran’s work connects risk, controls, governance, fraud, technology and reporting so that each discipline is understood in the context of the organisation it is meant to protect and improve.

Professional recognition

Recognition shaped by
professional contribution.

Professional recognition matters most when it reflects contribution — to the profession, to learning and to the quality of judgement practitioners bring to their work.

Turning knowledge
into assurance.

Writing extends the same work beyond the training room. Kamran’s books and current writing projects focus on helping audit and assurance practitioners think more clearly, apply concepts with confidence and turn technical knowledge into stronger professional judgement.
